Rules & Conditions
Solo's / Duo's / Trio's
At Starstruck Dance Competition we try to offer sections in as many genres as possible. Our Solo sections are broken up in the following age groups, Under 6 years, 6 & U8 years, 8 & U10 years, 10 & U12 years, 12 & U14 years, 14 & U16 years and Open Age. All age groups offer the following sections:
Classical
Demi-Character
Neo-Classical
Lyrical
Contemporary
Own Choreography
Broadway Jazz
Commercial Jazz
Acrobatics
Song & Dance
Song & Tap
Tap
Hip Hop
All abilities section for students with intellectual or physical limitations.
Championship sections
We offer Under 12 and Over 12 age groups for Duo/Trios. Sections include, Neo-Classical/Lyrical/Contemporary, Tap, Song & Dance/Tap and Jazz. We are always updating our sections so please make sure to check back.
Troupes
Our troupes work off an average age with the age of each competitor being taken as of the 1st of January that year. The sections we offer for our troupes are:

Our competitions offer the following Age Groups:
6 years & Under

Open Age
All competitors receive ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and HM's. The 1st place winner of each troupe section also receives a trophy for their school.
